Embracing Change for Collective Impact. This year’s Summit theme reflects our optimism for the future and our recognition of the rapid change happening in our sector and in technology. True to NetHope’s legacy, our collaboration to explore, understand, and chart a course  to help our sector use technology well is key to achieving our respective missions.  With a renewed focus on working together, we can fully realize the promise of technology to impact our work, our organizations and our world.

Member Showcase Round 1: Building a Warehousing System with Agile

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Due to changes in the accounting standards for UK registered charities, Save the Children was faced with a mandatory business requirement to systematically track stock levels and movements across 400 warehouses in 56 countries. With no existing system in place and a lack of any viable commercial solutions, the in-house Architecture and Innovation team developed a working warehousing system release within three months using Agile (Scrum). This showcase session expands on the project update given to the NetHope European chapter mid-2015, including further details on the solution’s offline capabilities and the change management issues faced during rollout.
