NetHope Benchmarks: How Do You Stack Up?
Have you ever wondered how much your NetHope colleagues spend on IT? Are you curious about the ratio of IT staff per employee among your peers? Alex Alpert, Membership Engagement Manager, and David Goodman, CIO-in-Residence, will present the findings from the recent NetHope Benchmark Survey and share their thoughts on future plans for collecting and analyzing member data. With that reporting fresh in mind, Eric Walker will provide an industry perspective: After a long career as CFO/COO of international NGOs, and now as a Senior Advisor to InsideNGO, Erik has set his sights on helping those organizations address big financial and operational problems. Erik will share his views on what matters for INGO successful operations, what changes are possible, and where the new trends in our sector are taking us. He will make observations of the Benchmark Study results with an eye to eliminate caps on overhead funding instituted by private foundations and share his insights into what conditions must exist for positive change to occur.
