Radha Ramaswami Basu has over 30 years’ experience in executive management and is widely recognized as a leading woman technology entrepreneur. Radha grew Hewlett Packard’s electronic business software division into a $1.5 billion business. She then held the position of Chairman & CEO of Support.com, a Nasdaq-listed company, which she led through initial and secondary public offerings. After retiring from Support.com, Radha and her husband Dipak Basu launched Anudip Foundation, a social enterprise in India with the mission of providing training in information technology for the unemployed and marginalized youth and young women.

Today, she combines this diversity to create a new entity that delivers on-demand digital data services while tackling poverty: iMerit. Founded in India and with plans to expand its model globally, iMerit works with companies like eBay and Microsoft in order to enhance their data and content, while training and employing marginalized youth and women.

Throughout her career, Radha has dedicated time to mentoring and inspiring women in engineering and technology. This dedication has been acknowledged by her receipt of the Silicon Valley Business Journal Women of Influence Award, the UN Women-ITU Gender-Equality Mainstreaming Technology Award, Top 25 Women of the Web, and CEO of the Year. Radha has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Upside Magazine and Economic Times. She has featured as a guest speaker at Wharton School, Stanford Business School, Santa Clara University, and the Forbes Executive Summit. Radha serves on the boards of NetHope, Resurge, Jhumki Basu Foundation, and Santa Clara’s Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. She is the founder of the Frugal Innovation Lab.
